SeaDream Yacht Club is an innovative yachting company that operates the twin, ultra-luxury mega yachts SeaDream I and SeaDream II. When they were originally introduced they soon became the prototypes of the casual and intimate yachting experience. SeaDream Yacht Club has built upon this legacy, and today the two sleek and rakish SeaDream yachts are highly acclaimed by discerning travelers seeking a unique seagoing experience and by travel industry observers everywhere.
SeaDream Yacht Club was founded in September of 2001 by Norwegian entrepreneur Atle Brynestad who founded Seabourn Cruise Line, and Larry Pimentel, who was President of Seabourn under Brynestad and later President and CEO of the merged companies Cunard-Seabourn. Pimentel is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SeaDream and a co-owner. The two friends, Brynestad and Pimentel, brought into SeaDream a small group of management colleagues with vast travel industry experience as well as shipboard officers and staff of unequaled ability.
As the SeaDream Chairman says "We are not a cruise line. We are a yacht company and we provide a yachting experience." Yachting features an open and unstructured ambience that provides guests the ability to fulfill their own dreams. Call them "sea dreams" if you will - at their own pace and in their own style. SeaDream likes to express this as "No clocks, no crowds, no lines, no stress." The key word for the SeaDream yachting experience is "unstructured. It's all about personal choice. Think of it as a free form holiday in which guests fall into a "sea dream" and believe that they are aboard their own yacht. That's why SeaDream is a yacht company; not a cruise line.
SeaDreams twin luxury mega-yachts SeaDream I and SeaDream II were designed as prototypes for the ultra-luxury yachting experience. You'll find teak decks, inviting seating and lounging areas with plenty of room to stroll, or simply relax and watch the world go by with your favorite libation. With all the comforts of home and more, SeaDream yachts reflect a passion for style, quality and casual perfection.
SeaDream visits the yachting playgrounds, intimate harbors and ports where larger ships cannot go. SeaDream I and SeaDream II spend May - October in Northern Europe, the Baltic, Norwegian Fjords, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea. November - April ships visit the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, including specially designed, exclusive voyages to the Amazon from Barbados to Iquitos, Peru.
All Sea Dreams' staterooms are ocean view. There are 54 Yacht Club Staterooms measuring 195 square feet. 16 of the Yacht Club Staterooms can be converted to 8 Commodore Suites (double Yacht Club). The Owners Suite with 447 elegantly appointed square feet features a private master bedroom and bathroom suite with a soaking tub, as well as a living and dining room area with a guest bath providing extra comfort for private entertaining.
The Admiral Suite provides a gracious 375 square feet. The Admiral Suite is casually elegant in design and features a separate living and dining area, master bedroom suite and 1 1/2 baths.
Based on how the staterooms are configured, the yachts can accommodate from 94 to 112 guests (based on double occupancy).
It is in the smallest of details that the soul feels pampered. It is SeaDream's attention to the most minute of details that makes the cuisine onboard SeaDream I and SeaDream II a gastronomical treat.
When yachting one gets into a special state of mind that we like to call "Casual Perfection". From the Welcome Aboard cocktails to SeaDreams Signature Champagne and Caviar Splash, the expertly designed menus and surprise treats are a melody of flavors; after all, they have to compete with the ever-changing views.
SeaDream does not have a dedicated Children's Program onboard.
Marina
What would yachting be without the proper toys? SeaDream I and SeaDream II feature a large retractable water sports Marina providing a variety of water sports activities. Play with the glass bottom kayaks, go water skiing, ride the banana boat, go tubing or boarding, go snorkeling, test your sailing skills on a Sunfish, go for a swim or kick back and lounge on the floating island - all with the assistance of the yacht's Marina staff. The Marina also has personal watercraft (PWC). The use of Personal Watercraft is subject to local and national rules and regulations. In many jurisdictions, personal watercraft use is either unlawful or subject to licensing. SeaDream will continue to use them where legal and authorized by local and national regulations.
Fitness Center
The Fitness Center features wide ocean views, wonderful lighting and state of the art equipment. Select from 4 treadmills, 1 elliptical machine, 2 recumbent bikes, and free weights, all with flat screen TVs and DVD players. Cool towels and refrigerated bottled water are also available.
Entertainment
Casino - You may not be James Bond but you can certainly practice your moves at the Black Jack tables. Enjoy an after dinner drink from the Piano Bar located just steps from the Casino.
Starlit Movies - SeaDream has taken dinner and a movie a luxurious step further. On clear nights you may retire to the pool deck after dinner to enjoy a concert or movie with a starry sky and your port of call as the backdrop. Popcorn and a drink of choice are available at your request. On evenings when the weather is not perfect, the event is hosted in the Main Salon.
Piano Bar - A relaxed lounge area where one may enjoy an after dinner cocktail and request a favorite tune from the piano player.
Live Guitar - Whether just as a background as guests sit down to dinner, or for enjoying those special requests at the Top Of The Yacht Bar, the sounds of a live guitar as it mingles with the ocean breeze is something guests do not soon forget.
Top of the Yacht Bar - Mingle with your favorite bartenders and fellow yachtsmen and enjoy after dinner cocktails.

Aside from the Raw Food Menu, SeaDream’s daily menus include vegetarian and gluten-free selections. Sugar-free options are always available on request. For other dietary needs, guests can consult with SeaDream at any time before the voyage to ensure that we fulfill your special needs.
Dream gourmet cuisine harmonized with rich and colorful wine flavors enhances the overall gourmet dining experience. Inclusive wine pairings are thoughtfully selected to please your gastronomic palate. An open bar with select brands is available throughout the day, with beverages served upon request anywhere on board, including the Top of the Yacht Bar, featuring 360° views of the surrounding landscapes and seascapes. The Pool Bar offers refreshing beverages throughout the day and the Main Salon is enjoyed by guests for pre-dinner cocktails. After dinner service, the Piano Bar and Casino is a favorite locale for a nightcap.
For our wine connoisseur guests, specially designed Wine Voyages are available in the Mediterranean from May-November. Explore the wonderful flavors and history by immersing yourself with carefully crafted selections of world-renowned wineries, onboard or ashore. Wine Director, Ida Donheim, designed these wine voyages exclusively for our SeaDream guests. Wine Voyages include specialized winery visits and land adventures with activities to satisfy the sommelier in you.
In addition to complimentary wine selections, the SeaDream cellar is stocked with a varied collection from the Old and New World. A wide selection of rare and trendy wines including the Château Ducru Beaucaillou Grand Cru Classé, 2002; and Insignia, Napa Valley, 2006; is available. A premium listing of spirits and concoctions is available, offering a selection of rare whiskeys and cognacs, trendy gins and vodkas, all at attractive prices.

Take time to watch the world go by on SeaDream’s Signature Balinese Dream Beds. These specially designed beds are the perfect place to catch the views, read a book and sip your favorite beverage. Select a cozy corner of the yacht and take that little catnap you have missed all year. Our comfortable outdoor platform beds are designed with afternoon naps and sunbathing in mind. These thick cushion beds, with throw pillows and individual reclining backs, are the perfect spot on the yacht to stretch out and enjoy unobstructed ocean views and cool sea breezes.

In the mood to practice your golf skills? You may do just that on SeaDream’s Golf Simulator on Deck 6. Equipped with his and hers clubs, select from over 30 world-renowned golf courses and enjoy them in air-conditioned comfort.
Whether you are the first one to greet the day at the Early Risers Coffee or you enjoy a fine cigar and cognac after dinner, the Top of the Yacht Bar is the social heart of the yacht. Take in the sea breeze and 360° views. Before the sunrise, make your way to the Top of the Yacht Bar to greet the day at the Early Risers Coffee. Throughout the day, you may enjoy your favorite drink or request a special SeaDream cocktail from our expert bartenders. They are perhaps the most loved crew members on board. The pool deck becomes your cinema under the open night sky. Get comfortable in a reclining lounge chair and watch a concert or movie on the outdoor big screen. Your port of call becomes your grand backdrop. Pillows, blankets, fresh popcorn and bar service make this a movie experience like no other.
If you’re feeling lucky, begin your evening entertainment with a hand at the Blackjack table in the casino on Deck 4. Just steps away, enjoy an after dinner drink at the Piano Bar, a relaxed and social lounge area where you enjoy listening to live guitar and piano music. Request your favorite tune and feel free to sing along. Or should you wish for something more quiet, take refuge in the Library. They incorporated a “Raw Food” menu option for guests to enjoy in a delicious and gourmet way. “Raw” refers to a style of food preparations in which all ingredients are raw,organic and vegan . To retain all the healthy micronutrients, nothing is heated above 118º F. Inspired by The Hippocrates Health Institute, SeaDream’s expert chefs created this special menu of delicious, gourmet raw food dishes. Indulge guilt-free with a variety of options such as Asian style Cashew Curry Salad, Vegetable Lasagna and even desserts including Raw Avocado Key Lime Pie.
