Overview

• Other than that, there's like, series basic things (Photons, Dark Falz, Mother, Rappys, Red Dragon), and Episode 5 of meseta pso2 this match included a few characters that were named as characters in the original RPG games and may have really been incarnations of said characters.
  
  All that's mostly like, nods for the people that get it though - you don't have to read up outside of this game, or play earlier Phantasy Star games, to understand PSO2's plot - The Dark Falz at PSO2 has nothing to do with some other Dark Falzes from previous matches, PSO2 Mother has nothing to do with PSII Mother, or PSO Mother, or even PSU Mother etc
  
  The game design, peppy sci-fantasy with laser guns laser swords, and technical-magic, and a sprinking of names/concepts in the series past. The first PSI-IV are their own goodwill. PSO1 is its continuity, with the implication PSZero a part of itbut it's possible it might be its continuity too. PSU/PSP/PSP2 are their own continuity. PSO2/PSNova are their joys. It is a series that shares components, kind of in precisely the exact same way Final Fantasy does I supposed.
  
  Not so much a reincarnated character, just a character by the same name that has some similar thematic roots to preceding"Mother" characters from the cheap PSO2 Meseta series... I may have details wrong here, but the demanding jist of those recaps is all about right... I feel The Mother (Brain) out of Phantasy Star II is a creation of a race of"Earthmen" people, designed to control the starsystem's resources including the reasonably Earth-like Palm, but is eventually corrupted by Dark Falz/Force. Under her watch, Palm ends up becoming completely destroyed by colliding with a satellite.
