How to Properly Treat Hair Breakage at the Crown

It's a fact that most women suffer from breakage at the crown, especially when their hair starts to get thicker and thinner. The reason is that when the hair becomes thicker and tighter, the roots of the hair start to come out and become exposed to gravity.

The problem is that when the roots are exposed, they're more susceptible to breakage because they start to get stiff and the hairs are more brittle. By learning the proper way to handle this problem, you can quickly get rid of your hair breakage at the crown.

To begin with, you should have your hair washed. Since this is not an easy thing to do, it's better if you can at least rinse it a few times during the shampooing process.

Then you should wash your hair well so that you can make sure that the shampoo that you put on your hair is thoroughly cleansed. This will make sure that you'll be able to get rid of the dirt and oil that can clog up the pores of your hair follicles.

Of course, we all know that a good conditioner isn't going to do much to help us because it won't be able to cover up the frizziness and dryness of our hair. What you need to do is take a conditioner and massage it onto your hair as if you were applying hairspray.

Once you do this, you should then put a generous amount of moisturizer on your hair. Once you've done this, you should then take a blow dryer that has warm settings and blow your hair dry to avoid it from becoming frizzy.

In case you're wondering, a warm blow dryer will not work properly if you use it in warm temperatures. Instead, you should use a cooler setting.

When you blow dry your hair, you should focus on the ends as they are usually the most visible. Use a wide sweeping motion to rub the ends of your hair as this will keep them from getting tangled up.

You should also try to avoid blow drying your hair as long as you can because too much heat can cause the hair to break off. Too much heat can also make your hair dry and result in the development of split ends.

If your hair is a little bit longer, you can apply a head towel to it to make sure that it doesn't get too hot. Make sure that you allow your hair to be slightly damp so that the hair doesn't end up losing moisture.

After about a minute, you should then blow dry your hair. By doing this, you should make sure that the moisture is not lost and will be able to prevent your hair from getting dehydrated.
