When I get there he informs me that he is really at the monastery so I should move there to meet with him. Just like a noob I take the path that cuts through the crazy (this was before they had the ditch) and I get ice hockey barraged by 3 men the same level as me. I'd an Obby cape (back when they were worth much more) a ton of arrows I was accumulating, about 150k in coins and some other stuff. I quit and did not arrive back until annually.

I recall my very first interaction. At the time I had a bit of money from some blessed barrows so I had a whip and a little bit of cash in the bank runs. Some guy in falador east bank at some uncrowded world was buying a whip for 2.7m and in the time they had been ~2.6m reliably, so I sold it to him to get what I believed was 2714k. I figured it had been his money pile that was entire of cheap RS gold and he needed the whip- made feel. A couple of hours later I realized I was short almost half a mil whilst attempting to buy back the whip I was presumed to be profiting on.

Then it struck me. He gave 2174k to me. I swear to god I was so pissed, I didn't even know his name so that I couldn't report him. I had been scammed cleanly. And I was inspired. Worked my way up to a permanent mute after conducting this scam on other people for up of profit that was 20m. This was back therefore my og accounts is Unmuted and doesn't have strikes. My scamming times are but fuck I invested a great deal of time in cammy and falador banks purchasing whips for 2147k.
