I played RuneScape. As it came out, then I briefly played OSRS gold. I never had any desire to get back into RuneScape. Last November I start seeing PK movies from Framed and Torvesta and I could not stop watching them. My desire to play was growing. I opted to give OSRS another try over the winter break for faculty and I've been hooked today for 2 months. I have although I figured I'd quit by now.

I completed Legends, Monkey Madness and Desert treasure already and I feel like my account is already better than my old main. Now that I'm an adult I am playing RuneScape so economically but I am not sacrificing pleasure. I work on abilities I try and like to maximize my time between my part time job, my courses and my IRL gf. Some times I have time to get a farming streak and I am completely okay with that. Ive always desired 99 farming and I will certainly achieve it.

Even back in the afternoon before OSRS I recall hearing people talking about RuneScape in public at college etc.. I didn't hear folks speak about World of Warcraft or other matches near as much. I wonder just how long OSRS will remain popular. I feel like most of the wow players back in the day were a old generation. I always remembered some of my friends dads raiding throughout tbc and vanilla. It was like the sub price of RuneScape so didn't have as much of a audience when compared with rs.

I remember people playing it once I was in school at the early 2000s then it simply faded away. Then I saw Reddit going mad over it a couple years ago. However, what really made me understand that it was popular was when I was drifting through the abandoned turnpike tubing in central Pennsylvania and saw graffiti on the wall which said,"PLAY OLD SCHOOL RuneScape" and had the dude's username.

That is fascinating. Folks don't half-ass RuneScape. If someone plays RuneScape, they're generally obsessed with RuneScape relative to how much different people play many other videogames, on account of this grind/time investment required to maintain progressing (years of drama if someone wants to reach the end game). RuneScape becomes part of someone's identity, however the old stigma of mmorpg's being"nerdy" or"regressive" is diminished and now osrs is not just a part of somebody's backstage face; it's a genuine, increasingly popular pastime.

I operate at the evacuation doing 911 and transporting. We have pills (laptops that turn to pills ) in our ambulances and should the location the patient is going is a few hours away I'll play OSRS on the pill (if the individual is non-critical and asleep). A countless number of occasions I've had patients awaken and ask me when I was playing RS and a few have either played before, or play it, and we are going to have RS discussions all of the way into the receiving facility. We also have a conference room at the station and four other men and myself bring our PCs in and play with OSRS round the table between being toned outside.

I thought there were just like 7-8 children in each grade (my college had like 100 kids each grade) that played RuneScape, needless to mention people several children were all part of my friendship band I would hang out with everyday at school and speak about runies, this was back in 2006 when (IMO) it had been during its peak before WoW became overly widespread/kids obtained better computers. Now as a 25 yo adult even at work in the bituminous road building industry I hear some of our labourers talking about Recipe for Disaster and while awaiting the trucks they are playing it on their phones.

Is how simple it is to discuss of cheap RuneScape gold. You meet someone who plays the exact same game as possible, you're second best friends and can talk about it till the cows come home. The crew do not like us engineers by default but I get along with these boys now, and today we are cracking RuneScape jokes across the UHF from time to time. I do not even know what RuneScape is I am just here since these memes make no sense therefore must be a higher form of intelligence.
