It's all about the untamed wild and woolly wilderness and the many ways you can discover it.
The UnCruise Adventures fleet is comprised of three small expedition vessels capable of exploring nature's most scenic waterways. The shallow-draft hull design allows for easy access to wildlife-rich shorelines and serves as ideal launching pads for adventure excursions. All are newly refurbished with interior spaces to compliment the wilderness outside. Public areas and private spaces are loaded with amenities.

UnCruise Adventures explores areas rich in wildlife, old-growth forests, cultural villages and wilderness waterways and provides big experiences in small doses. Each small group wilderness adventure is designed to pursue close-up encounters with nature and avoids ports clogged with tourists. Some days visit favorite spots that are tried and true, while on other days nature is the guide.
UnCruise Adventures offers activities to suit a variety of skill levels: mild, moderate or rigorous outdoor pursuits, or a more Zen-like wilderness experience. Extra care has been taken in the hiring of fully trained, experienced and competent adventure guides who are eager to share their love of the outdoors. Excursions are ranked with an activity level rating to ensure that each guest is comfortable with their selection. Skill requirements on each ranking will be provided once on board: 1 - Easy; 2 - Moderate; 3 - Challenging; 4 - Strenuous; 5 - Difficult

The onboard atmosphere across the fleet is always relaxed, even in the dining room. Everyone is served at one seating and dress is always casual. There are no assigned tables or dining partners - guests sit where they want and with whom they want.
Chefs prepare healthy and hearty meals that feature fresh ingredients including locally caught seafood. Most meals are served buffet style to ensure flexibility with ongoing activities. Inspired soups and salads, and desserts made daily are known to be onboard favorites. And at cocktail hour, delectable appetizers will be found in the lounge. A coffee and tea station is open 24/7 and snacks such as energy bars and fresh fruit are also available throughout the day in the lounge. Special dietary needs such as vegetarian, diabetic, or low cholesterol meals and food allergies can be accommodated with enough advance notice.
While children are welcome on board, UnCruise Adventures ships do not offer facilities and programming. However, the educational immersion into the scenery, culture and wildlife are a wonderful experience for kids of all ages.
Families may target the select Family Discoveries program where kids 12 years and younger can save 25 percent on select departures. Family Discoveries offers entertaining and educational adventure activities at different skill levels. Plus the entire family will receive a rare introduction to wilderness lifestyles by interacting with local families or fishermen in remote and isolated locations.
Throughout the voyage guests become familiar with the crew and staff who enrich the time aboard. Depending on where the ship is on any given day, there are provocative presentations on deck and in the lounge that educate guests on the environment, wildlife, history, and culture of the region. Local experts are often invited along as special guests to "talk story" and provide insights unavailable to most other visitors.
UnCruise Adventures has an open bridge policy across the fleet so guests are always welcome to visit and discuss navigation with the Captain. Many of the vessels are equipped with underwater hydrophones as well as cameras that connect to the TVs, bringing life in the water directly inside the ship! Each vessel also has a varied collection of board games, books, and DVDs.
Life onboard can be fairly social. With small groups of like-minded adventurers, who appreciate roads less traveled, there's a certain "bonding" that tends to occur during cocktail hour, over meals, and through new shared experiences.

UnCruise Adventures is in a unique position to educate and inform guests - some of whom are influential business leaders, politicians and public figures. The company uses its platform in a positive manner to educate these guests, who in turn educate others, on the frailties or vulnerabilities of our environment and why that environment needs to be supervised in order for critical natural treasures such as glaciers, rain forests, shorelines and wildlife to remain in balance. The most important element to protect the natural world for future generations is the essence of small group travel.
As stewards of the environment UnCruise Adventures adheres to the Marine Mammal Viewing Code of Conduct and operates under the required permits to visit the destinations included on the itineraries. On-board conservation efforts include the use of reusable water bottles, eco-friendly amenities, less frequent washing of linens and the ships exceed regulatory requirements for disposal of wastes. Expert naturalists/expedition leaders share in-depth knowledge on the flora and fauna of a destination providing guests with a new appreciation of the environment to share with others. And since whales are an integral part of the destinations, many staff members have extensive training, through education and research, in the various species of whales.
