EA Sports and Nickelodeon proclaimed a partnership to bring SpongeBob SquarePants to Madden NFL 21.


The so-called Nickelodeon x Madden event added various content with SpongeBob theme to Madden NFL 21’s famous alternative model, The Yard. The content includes three new game modes that will ask the following questions: “What if SpongeBob and his friends make rules?” And new locations, MUT 21 Coins and SpongeBob SquarePants Equipment for you to collect.


Madden 21’s new SpongeBob SquarePants mode includes: the ghostly grip of the Flying Dutchman (allows you to jump higher for better grip), Sandy’s Rock Arm Rally (the player can pass the ball up to 80 Yards or more) and Goo Lagoon Bowl (cooing you slow down).


They can play all new modes on the new location Reef-Top. As you can see from the picture below, this arena is in an underwater city where there are famous SpongeBob stadiums such as Krusty Krab and SpongeBob SquarePants and Squid Houses. A huge SpongeBob balloon flies into the distance, and I can also see a Nick airship overhead.


The field they decorate it with special graphics to reflect SpongeBob’s participation. You can click in the image gallery below to inspect these. Besides new locations and modes, EA and Nickelodeon also brought SpongeBob theme equipment to The Yard for you to collect. As you can see in the picture below, this equipment includes a variety of yellow and blue products that can be decorated with players, including gloves, shorts, arm sleeves, etc.


This partnership is not entirely sudden, because Nickelodeon will air the NFL playoffs this weekend. The broadcast will feature special graphics and overlays that feature SpongeBob SquarePants and Nick.
