(1) I had been fishing at Musa Point, Karamja. He had been hoping to finish Dragon Slayer. Someone on the dock fished/cooked 22 lobsters because of
OSRS gold him. While doing so, we requested his stats. His response was (roughly ) level 40 attack, 40 strength, 40 defense, very low level ranged&magical, 15 prayer. He had a rune scimitar, an amulet of power, adamant platebody, rune platelegs, anti-dragonfire shield, boots from the Barbarian Village Dungeon. I remember reading about exactly what att/str/def level you ought to be at, and exactly what armor/food/supplies you need to deliver, so I told him that too wearing a (rune total ) helmet would be good when he was likely to confront Elvarg. However, the person went straight for the combat with Elvarg. I ceased fishing and chose to see the fight. (Aside: Here's about what I defeated Elvarg with. Note that I was not very interested in Runescape quests once I played, so I probably might have tried the Dragon Slayer quest sooner than I did... Strike 41, Power 55, Defense 45, prayer 43. I brought armor/supplies close to exactly what Sal's website recommends. I would suggest the same armor/supplies to anybody trying to defeat Elvarg, except an amulet of electricity instead of the sacred emblem, and a rune scimitar in place of this rune longsword).
The guy did a fantastic job of beating Elvarg! He didn't turn on prayer in any way. (Aside: I recall Elvarg being tough to defeat. The weird thing is, for each of the greater att/str/def/prayer/armor I had, it seemed like he had an easier battle against Elvarg than I did. I know that it's likely because I was not facing the dragonfire myself, that it appeared easier when he fought with the dragon than when I did. : ) Kudos to him for a job well done. I suppose the requirements for Dragon Slayer are not as elevated as I believed?
(2) I wasn't wearing any armor while fishing at Musa Point. After the man headed to the volcano, then I didn't have the time to rush to the bank and get some armor. So I just went without armor. When I pushed the trapdoor from the wall, I raced towards Elvarg's lair but a Lesser Demon saw me and wanted a fight. I ran past it but it followed me. I was busy watching the man fight Elvarg, but I did have auto-retaliate on. I kept a watch on what was happening around me while watching the fight against Elvarg. I was able to defeat the Lesser Demon with all kicking. The Elvarg fight was still not yet completed, and a sword decided it wanted to fight me, so I conquered the skeleton with auto-retaliate hanging, also. I hadn't before tried to conquer a Lesser Demon by kicking - it was a good experience.
Which F2P creature provides the best total loot? *NOT* the most valuable single thing fall, but the maximum value over a long session of beating the said given creature? I've seen a number of people choose level 83 cockroach soldiers at the Stronghold of
cheap RuneScape gold Player Safety. Maybe Members fighting with the"F2P" level 83 cockroach soldiers get good drops, but there is not any way that level 83 cockroach soldiers provide the best drops in F2P. So a member finding that the cockroach soldiers give really good drops, that does not count as a fantastic F2P drop (that's a P2P drop).
